The Summerfields Foods philosophy is simple: we make cooking authentic, tasty food easier than ever by making ingredients accessible. We have food from all around the world, hard-to-find ingredients and high quality spices so you can turn out amazing food from your own kitchen!

Karl and Fiona Summerfield are keen cooks, and would love to hear what you plan to use the ingredients for. We may even be able to give you some great hints on how to get the best from your ingredients.

If you are in a hurry then grab one of our handy meal packs. Most of what you need is in there, you just add some meat from the freezer and maybe a vege or two and you can be eating amazing, authentic food from all over the world right in your own home.

We stock chillis, beans, sauce, pasta, rice, spices, seasonings, meat rubs, oils, sweetners, nuts, flours, pastes and vinegars. If we don't have it, we will do our best to track it down for you!

You can find us at 207 Waimairi Road, in the Ilam shops (in the lovely city of Christchurch, New Zealand). We are open 11am-7pm Tuesday to Saturday, or you can shop right here online in our Edible Planet Online store.
